Five Natural Ways To Ward Off Bees And Wasps

I do not know about you, but I’m not someone who enjoys killing pests and, generally, I avoid everything I can; For example, if I’m on the couch and I see a spider, I grab some container, pick it up and return it to the backyard. However, I had to leave that habit behind the day I found a wasp nest just above the main door of the house. Since I do not like chemicals at all, I opted for natural ways to keep bees and wasps away, and today I would like to share them with you. Do you want to know about them? Come on!

Water And Soap

To avoid damaging the outside of your home with strong but harmful insecticides for your plants and even for your family, you can use a solution of six soup spoons of earthenware detergent and two liters of water. You will have to throw this mixture in the hive, but make sure to wear clothes that protect you from possible bites and hurry to get out of there as soon as you throw the liquid; try to do it during the night when the bees are resting. For best results, try to block the entrance of the hive first, if you can identify it. Luck!

Borax Powder

The boric acid or borax is an excellent natural insecticide to get rid of bees and wasps. Not only is it poisonous to bees, but it is also toxic to most pests we know; however, it is entirely harmless to humans, unless it is used in massive quantities, which is not the case. If you cannot introduce some of this dust into the hive, it is best to place borax powder in areas where bees flit. You will see how they will disappear in a matter of days!
